Ron came up with these

They are intended for trucks we made for Plasma and Almost Paris. (The original savant truck, that ended up being sold under the Plasma brand name). We still have stock that was never fully purchased by Plasma. Ron calculated the deflection of the hangar based on compression of the pivot bushing and made these. These also have merit for experimental tinkering. Especially heavy riders for trucks that use a Paris style pivot bushing. They may also work in conjunction with some pivot tubes if they sit too deep into the pivot. 

We can't remember what weight you need to be for these to be necessary, and at which point you need to use two per truck. I believe it was around 150lbs for one and around 200 lbs for 2 per truck. Unfortunately we can't ask Ron because he passed away. He also left us all of his nipples. These are good if you plan on buying some of our discontinued  trucks that were intended for Paris then Plasma.
