These Rail Risers are designed to properly contact your trucks with no pressure points.applyimg clamping forces evently to your trucks. This is important to reduce cycle fatigue (cracking) of baseplates from using hard risers on the logo (causing the truck to fail while bending around the logo after prolonged use).
The material is not so hard that they will harm your deck or crack on slightly curved boards, while also not being so soft to cause the baseplate to float, which is another source of baseplate failure especially over bumps like expansion gaps.
These do not work with baseplates with side fins such as randall baseplates. However the cowtown house risers do work with those. Give us a shout if that's something you are after.
