Tired of loosing your feet, and not being able to find them? Apex prototyping has your back (foot).

Use a backstop and keep your eyes pointed down hill. Backstops help you lock in your feet, increase rear foot grip, and serve as a tactile reference so you can feel where your foot is. The Alfred is made of 90a urethane so it’s hard but does allow for a tiny bit of give which increases comfort and it can conform to most boards concave. It’s also not so soft that it reduces precision.

One reason to choose a this backstop over the more common foam ones is that the alfred is adjustable. You can move this backstop whenever you change your wheelbase, or when you are trying to figure out the best placement for you. You can also glue the alfred to your board under some griptape , if you are certain you have found your rear foots forever home. Lastly the alfred is fairly short, so you may still be able to use whatever tail you might have behind your baseplates.
